About Us
Pathways Homeschool was started over 10 years ago by a couple of dedicated homeschool families in Newtown, CT. In 2019, when the founder’s children were preparing for college and the moms were ready to retire the coop, 5 families asked to keep the Pathways name and continue the co-op. In 2020 when the world stopped due to a global pandemic, everyone kept in touch. As people began to get vaccinated and the world began to reopen, the Pathways reboot was formed through some late night zoom meetings and lots of research. We come from varying backgrounds including law, farming, music, dancing, and science. One thing ties us together: our passion for homeschooling our children and providing them with a secular, inclusive and practical education.
